Apollo Playing Cards manufactures custom bridge- and poker-sized playing cards for businesses and individuals seeking a fun and unique way to promote a business or product, commemorate a special event, or even create an entirely new card-based game.

About Colors
- One color printing allows for a single color plus white. White is not considered a color because the graphics and/or images are printed on white paper. Examples of one-color custom backs may be found on page two of our catalog.
- Two color printing allows for two colors plus white. Examples of two-color custom backs may be found on page three of our catalog
- Three color printing allows for three colors plus white. Examples of three-color custom backs may be found on page four of our catalog
- The four color printing process results in a full-color reproduction, and is most frequently used when reproducing photographs or full-color artwork. Examples of four-color printing may be found on pages five and six of our catalog.
- Spot colors are used when precise color matching is required. See 'Proofs and Digital Artwork' below for more information on color matching.

- Card size: 2.25" x 3.5"
- Imprint size: 2" x 3.25"
- With bleed: 2.5" x 3.75"

- Imprint size: 2.25" x 3.25"
- With bleed: 2.75" x 3.75"

Custom Backs
Card backs can be fully customized with one, two, three, or four colors (full color). Backs can have either a smooth or linen finish.
Custom Faces
Customizing the faces (pips) of the cards is a great way to promote several products or services. We offer fully customized card faces, with both traditional and custom suits, in one, two, three, or four colors (full color). Faces are lithographic printed on brilliant white stock with plastic coating, and can have a smooth or linen finish. Prep charges will apply, and there is a 400-deck minimum order. Packaging
Our standard packaging for both bridge- and poker-sized cards is a white or black single-window box with an outer wrapping of cellophane. Examples may be seen on page seven of our catalog.
A wide variety of custom packaging is available. We offer custom-printed tuck boxes (available with card orders only), which require a minimum order of 300 decks. For an example, please see page seven of our catalog.
Both single- and double-deck plastic boxes are available for bridge-sized cards, and single plastic boxes are available for poker-sized cards. Prices and photographs may be seen on page eight of our catalog
Bridge-sized velour boxes, both single and double, and single velour pouches, are available and may be hotstamp imprinted. To see an example, please seepage eight of our catalog. For a quote on velour hotstamping, please contact us.
Beautiful rosewood boxes are available for poker-sized cards, in both single- and double-deck sizes. Please see page eight of our catalog for pricing information and photos.
Pips
Pips,commonly called faces, are the symbols on the card face that determine the suit of the card and its value. We offer pinochle, regular, and jumbo pips. Examples of each may be seen on page eight of our catalog. Regular and jumbo pips are available in both bridge- and poker sizes. Pinochle pips are available in bridge size only.
Production Time
After a proof is approved by the customer, allow two weeks for production on catalog-quantity orders.
Proofs and Digital Artwork
- There is no charge for a digital proof.
- A match print incurs a $120 fee (printout is 24" by 27").
- Digital setup is $38 per color for custom backs.
- PMS color matching is $60 per color.
- Switchback (wash up) is $65 per color. If extra plates are required (copy change), the fee is $100 per color.
- Press proofs are $110 per color, with a two-week production time.
- Production ready art is defined as fully-vectored graphic artwork or images at 300 dpi or greater. Adobe Creative Suite CS3 is used in house.
